Peppermint Holiday Drink Recipes

It’s almost time for everything nice! Peppermint season is upon us, and we’ve crafted this latte bridging the gap between Fall and Winter. Flavor parings that you may not expect: cinnamon, peppermint, and almond. The sweet minty peppermint pairs very well with the woodsy cinnamon, and we’re using almond milk to give a background of nutty aroma. Together they create a delicious medley of sweet and spicy that will have you craving this latte all year long.

This drink is made the same way you would make any latte with a sauce or syrup in it. Just ensure the espresso is mixed well with the flavoring.

The sun is setting sooner, and the mornings are a little colder, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a sweet and refreshing cold brew this November. We’ve squeezed out the last drop of summer into this cold brew by combining lemon, peppermint, and chocolate. Now I know what you’re thinking… Lemon, peppermint and chocolate? How can this work? But it does! Peppermint and lemon are a natural pairing in tea. Chocolate and peppermint candies are soon to be on every shelf everywhere. Together they make a cocoa rich, minty sweet, tangy lemon cold brew that will make you wonder why this hasn’t been tried before.

The two important aspects of making this drink are ensuring the cold brew and sauce are properly mixed and shaking the cream to the right consistency. We don’t want a clump of chocolate sauce sitting at the bottom of someone’s cup, and we don’t want stiff cream sitting on top of someone’s drink. The lemonade mix will not curdle the cream. It just adds a delightful tangy sweetness that pairs very well with the rich chocolate.

It doesn’t get classier than chocolate and peppermint. This flavor combination is so versatile and popular. From cakes and cookies to ice skating and tree ornaments, expect to see peppermint everywhere you go! Excited holiday shoppers and everyday café customers eagerly waiting to get a sip of this chocolate peppermint cold brew.

The SOP for this cold brew is the same as the Goodbye Summer, just using different sauces. The important things are the same. This drink will taste so much better when the sauce is mixed well with the cold brew. The right texture on the cream will let customers stir it into the coffee if that’s how they’d like to drink it, but the contrast from the chocolate cream and peppermint cold brew is delicious.

As the air gets a little colder, and the games of summer draw to a close, friends and family gather around familiar tables enjoying their favorite holiday beverages together. You may not have seen chai and peppermint together before, but you won’t forget it after you try this Candy Chai Latte. Peppermint bark is caramelly and buttery, a perfect partner for the spicy cinnamon and nutmeg in Big Train’s Chai Tea Latte Blend. This latte is spicy and indulgent, it’ll have you thinking, ‘where has been all my life?’

We’re using the TLAB Chai Tea Latte Blend we provide in this recipe, but if your shop carries another brand, it will work the same. Just follow the ratios on the specific product you have and adjust the recipe.
