30 years ago, in the historic neighborhood of Dilworth, NC in the suburbs of Charlotte, the original Dilworth Coffee opened its doors, introducing specialty coffee well before the green mermaid would make her way East. We introduced our coffees to one customer at a time, helping them find their own great coffee experience to enjoy, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for the specialty coffee industry. Our brand foundation is built on this simple goal of trying to satisfy each customer with great coffee.
Today, we’re an artisan coffee roaster and distributor of wholesale coffee to coffee shops, cafes, specialty retail and hospitality companies. At Dilworth it’s all good!

First Dilworth Coffee Shop opens in Dilworth, NC. |
1994 |
2nd location opens in Charlotte's South End. Introduction of the wholesale coffee roasting business. |
1999 |
Introduction of the Dilworth Coffee House licensed store program, enabling licensees to open their own Dilworth Coffee House using the Dilworth name, trademarks, and recipes. |
2010 |
Strategic alliance between Dilworth Coffee and Stockton Graham & Co. to expand roasting capabilities and retail service. |
2018 |
Dilworth Coffee and Stockton Graham merge under one Dilworth Coffee Brand. Headquarters relocated to Raleigh, NC. Dilworth Coffee Training Center opened to help retail coffee shops succeed. |
2018 |
First directly traded coffees from Honduras; partnership announced with Educate to Envision to build and operated a middle school in Los Planes Honduras. |
