Mint Matcha Cream - March Featured Beverage

Spring is one of our favorite seasons, so coming up with the perfect beverage for such a season in North Carolina, we get a lot to celebrate. It is not only almost time for St. Patrick's Day it's also the time for March Madness! We couldn’t shake the idea of having our own perfect trifecta in this minty Irish inspired matcha latte.

For quality matcha we recommend, Two Leaves and a Bud “Nice Matcha” there’s a perfect balance of floral and grassy with notes of vanilla and even Rose.

Pacific oat milk or your preferred whole milk will create a creamy, lightly sweet base that compliments the flavor of the grassy, floral matcha perfectly while the Torani Creme de Menth and Torani Irish Cream help elevate while complementing each other throughout.

Matcha, a powdered green tea, contains approximately 137 times more antioxidants than regular brewed green tea. This, along with phytonutrients and EGCg, assist in fortifying your immune system and detoxifying your body, helping to boost your overall metabolism and believed to help lower bad cholesterol while giving you a natural boost to your focus and clarity.

Matcha comes from the plant, camellia sinensis, in the powdering process the entire leaf is used rather than just its leaves with your standard green teas.

Traditionally consumed as part of Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries it has become more widely known in recent years and is enjoyed around the world in a multitude of unique applications.
