Matcha Cream Americano

Let’s take two coffee shop staples and combine them to make a fun and colorful beverage for March. This americano is served as an 8oz drink; 6 ounces of coffee topped with a layer of green tea thickened cream. The cool and sweet matcha cream is a delicious contrast to the chocolatey and bold americano. It may be the first time you’ve combined these two ingredients, but it may surprise you how tasty it is!

Ingredient

8oz

espresso 2 shots

TLAB Nice Matcha

1/4 tbsp

hot water

4oz

heavy cream

2oz

Instructions:

  1. Pull a double shot of espresso.
  2. Add espresso and hot water into serving cup.
  3. Add cream and matcha powder to metal shaker.
  4. Shake cream until thick.
  5. Scoop cream on top of coffee and serve.

Strawberry Blonde Cold Brew

This refreshing cold brew draws influence from classic springtime drinks like a Pimms or a margarita. The smooth chocolatey cold brew is a perfect paring with the sweet strawberry syrup; top it off with a sweet and sour shaken cream and you’ve got a perfect beverage to take with you on a stroll through the park. The lime and lime zest are optional garnishes but add a little extra character to the drink.

Ingredient

16oz

cold brew

7oz

Torani Strawberry syrup

2 pumps

Torani Lime syrup

2 pumps

ice 1 scoop
heavy cream 2oz
half + half 1/2 oz
lime + zest garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add cold brew into serving cup.
  2. Add strawberry syrup and half + half to cold brew and mix.
  3. Add ice to serving cup.
  4. In a shaker or frother, add heavy cream and lime syrup and shake/froth.
  5. Pour shaken cream on top of cold brew and serve.
  6. Optional garnishes: add lime zest on top of cream and top off with a circle of lime for extra pizazz.

Irish Imperial Latte

We’re following our featured flavored coffee this month with an inspired Irish Cream latte. This latte is spiked with cinnamon and has all those wonderful flavors you would taste in Bailey’s without any of the alcohol. Feel free to add an extra shake of cinnamon on top to garnish.

This drink uses a tea concentrate so that sparkling water can be added to it. Feel free to use 8oz of normal iced tea instead of a concentrate to avoid the hassle. It will still be delicious, just without the carbonation.

Ingredient

12oz

espresso 2 shots

Torani Irish Cream syrup

2 pumps

milk

8oz

cinnamon

3 shakes

Instructions:

  1. Pull espresso shot into serving cup.
  2. Add pumps of syrup and stir.
  3. Shake cinnamon on top of espresso.
  4. Steam milk.
  5. Pour over espresso and serve.
