Berry Chocolate Truffle Latte

Forget about all your love-struck problems this Valentines Day with a red and moody indulgent chocolate latte. There’s rich chocolate sauce in the espresso, and dye the milk with raspberry syrup and *red food coloring. Top it off with grated dark chocolate and you may just be content with a latte for one when the 14th comes around.

*The food coloring is optional and just for the aesthetic, it does not add any flavor to the recipe.

Ingredient

12oz

espresso

double shot

Monin raspberry syrup

1 pump

Monin dark chocolate sauce

 1 pump

milk 8oz
red food coloring (optional) 1 drop

Instructions:

  1. Pull espresso shot and add to serving cup.
  2. Add chocolate sauce to espresso and stir to combine.
  3. Pour milk in pitcher and add raspberry syrup and red food coloring.
  4. Steam milk, pour over espresso and serve.

Sparkling Red Raspberry Iced Tea

This fruit tea is sparkly, refreshing and fun! Any kind of tea can be used as the base, but we recommend one of our Black Organic Iced Tea 1oz / 1 gallon boxes.

Iced tea concentrate can be made in a few ways. The important part is steeping the tea in half the amount of water you usually would. Either steep a single serving tea bag in 4oz of water, or your standard bulk iced tea recipe using half the amount of water. Steeping a single sachet of tea to order will delay orders. We recommend making it in bulk batches to speed up the process.

This drink uses a tea concentrate so that sparkling water can be added to it. Feel free to use 8oz of normal iced tea instead of a concentrate to avoid the hassle. It will still be delicious, just without the carbonation.

Ingredient

16oz

iced tea concentrate

4oz

sparkling water

4oz

ice

1 scoop

Monin raspberry syrup 2 pumps
raspberries (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pour tea concentrate into cup.
  2. Add syrup and sparkling water.
  3. Top with ice.
  4. Garnish with raspberries (optional) and serve.

Raspberry Red Velvet Cold Brew

Cold brew can be sipped all year round, even on a chilly February day. We’ve recreated a classic red velvet cake and added a delightful fruity touch of raspberry. If you didn’t know, red velvet is actually just chocolate! The original red color comes from a chemical reaction between cocoa, buttermilk, and baking soda. We don’t need the reactions these days, but we keep the color because it’s oh-so fun.

The important thing in this recipe is mixing. The chocolate sauce must be mixed well into the cold brew. Whether that’s with a bar spoon, a shaker, or a whisk. Also when mixing the cream cheese into the heavy cream, you'll have to shake it hard and well to fully incorporate the cream cheese, but oh is it worth it.

Again, the food coloring is optional and just for the aesthetic, it does not add any flavor to the recipe.

Ingredient

12oz

cold brew

7oz

Monin raspberry syrup

1 pump

Monin dark chocolate sauce

2 pumps

ice

1 scoop

red food coloring (optional) 1 drop
heavy cream 2oz
cream cheese 1 tsp
cocoa powder (optional) garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a serving cup, add cold brew and chocolate sauce and mix well to combine.
  2. Add ice to the serving cup.
  3. In a metal shaker, add heavy cream, cream cheese, food coloring, and raspberry syrup.
  4. Shake until smooth.
  5. Pour shaken cream on top of cold brew.
  6. Garnish with a shake of cocoa powder and serve.
