About Irish Cream
How old are liqueurs like Chartreuse and Cointreau, you ask? Gather 'round while we share the story of origin. Many modern-day recipes for famous liqueurs date back hundreds of years.
Chartreuse is a French liqueur first devised by Carthusian Monks in Grenoble back in 1737. A secret recipe of 130 distinct herbs found in that area of France. Cream liqueurs are a somewhat modern invention.
Bailey’s, the very first cream liqueur, was created back in 1971 by Tom Jago and was an instant classic–inspiring alcohol and coffee drinkers all around the world!
Irish Cream Flavored Coffee - a Smooth Combination
The distinct flavor of Irish cream comes from a combination of herbs, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, sugar, Irish dairy, and whiskey. No wonder it’s such an incredible combination for our coffee. The dark-roasted earthy notes of chocolate pair exquisitely with caramel and vanilla, and the effervescent fruitiness marries those wonderful herbal notes.
A combination for the ages! This March, please enjoy our Irish Cream flavored coffee.
