Carolina coffee, often celebrated for its rich heritage and robust flavor profiles, embodies the spirited tradition of coffee roasting and brewing in the Carolinas. This region, known for its diverse agriculture and artisanal food products, brings a unique charm to its coffee production. Carolina coffee is not just about the beans themselves, but the community and culture surrounding coffee consumption in the area.

Whether enjoyed in a cozy cafe, during a bustling morning market, or within the comfort of one's home, Carolina Coffee delivers an experience that is deeply rooted in the warmth and hospitality synonymous with Southern living.

Carolina Coffee - a Rich Heritage of Flavor and Fellowship

The Carolinas, known for their lush landscapes and historic towns, have long been a melting pot of cultures and traditions. This diversity is mirrored in the local coffee scene, where every cup tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and community. Carolina coffee isn't merely about the beans, which are sourced from the finest coffee-producing regions of the world. It's about how these beans are transformed into aromatic blends that reflect the spirit of the Carolinas.

Local roasters, many of whom have turned their passion for coffee into thriving businesses, are at the heart of this coffee culture. They meticulously roast small batches to perfection, creating flavors that range from bold and robust to smooth and subtle. These artisans take pride in their craft, often drawing inspiration from the region's natural beauty and vibrant communities to develop blends that are uniquely Carolinian.

Dilworth is Carolina Coffee

Dilworth is proudly North Carolinian! We named this blend after the wonderful and green state we’re based in. Organic Carolina Rain brings together two coffees from South and Latin America, our Organic Honduras, and Organic Peru. Together, these coffees create a medium roast blend that will delight your taste buds whenever the coffee cravings hit.

Peruvian Coffee

Organic Carolina Rain

Peruvian coffee is some of the most well sourced coffee in the world. They were one of the first South American countries to start growing coffee in the 1800’s. In the early 2000’s the Peruvian government, amid internal conflict in the country–hurting coffee trading, stepped up to provide increased funding and infrastructure to create a stable coffee industry. In the following years, Peru has become one of the leading producers of organic, fair-trade coffee globally. Peruvian Arabica beans are light and boast a mild acidity. Flavor profiles range from vanilla nuttiness and chocolate to delightful aromatic citrus.

Honduran Coffee

Honduran coffee is small farm coffee. 70% of the coffee produced in Honduras is grown and picked by small family farms. The coffee industry in Honduras grew slowly through the 90’s, but as of 2011, Honduras is the largest coffee producer in Central America. Honduran coffee is very versatile when it comes to flavor profile. You can bring out different flavors depending on the roast level. For this medium blend we carefully roasted it to bring out sweet milk chocolate notes.

These two organic origins blended and roasted together produce a profoundly sippable coffee. Flavors of roasted nut, sweet caramel, and smooth chocolate. This April, be sure to grab a bag of our Organic Carolina Rain, and support organic farming around the world and enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee at the same time.
